On Thursday, March 2, 35+ Chicagoland Let’s Talk Womxn LetsTalkWomxn.com restaurateurs will host a “Let’s Talk & Celebrate” Gold Glamour Gourmet bash at Moe’s Cantina in River North from 5 to 9 p.m. to kick off Women’s History Month. Stay for the party, which includes 35 tasting stations, women-power cocktails, dancing, a gold drag show, and a DJ. To enjoy the Gourmet tastings, meet the women of Let’s Talk Womxn, and celebrate, all men and women are invited, drenched or accented in Gold and Glamour!
Let’s Talk Womxn is a Chicago-based collaborative action movement of women-owned food and beverage entrepreneurs that is entirely based on volunteers. It was founded by Rohini Dey, Ph. D, which now has over 700 members and is rapidly expanding to 14 cities nationwide. In March, each Let’s Talk city will hold its own celebration all over the country. Along with Rohini Dey, Julia Shell, Korina Sanchez, Jodi Fyfe, Sarah Stegner, and Mary Aregoni cohosted Chicago, which features over 80 prominent female business owners. The goal is to boost members’ businesses together.
