It looked like the Philadelphia Eagles would lose their first

defenseman on Wednesday. Five-time pro player Darius Slay

recently secured a commercial license while negotiating with

Philadelphia over a possible renewal, and then there were

reports of an impending premiere. However, Slay was

never officially released and that has now changed

significantly. CBS Sports NFL insider Josina Anderson

reported Wednesday night that the Eagles were having

trouble releasing Slay  and wanted to keep him. ESPN then

said that Slay would stay with the Eagles. It's not final yet, but

that's how it looks now, a source told ESPN. The
